Daniel Coleman is the author of JABBERWOCKY, HATTER (Spring 2015), and THE RED KNIGHT (Late 2015) which are backstories to the events and characters of Wonderland long before the arrival of Alice. When Daniel isn't writing, he works as a full-time firefighter and paramedic for the largest fire department in Utah. He is a student of creativity, collector of PEZ dispensers, keeper of large animals, proponent of bow ties, and believer in magic. While he loves his jobs and the books he's written, nothing brings Daniel more pride and joy than his wife and three kids who support him in his writing habit.
In junior high, an aptitude/interest test listed Writer as the profession least suited for Daniel. He graduated college with Honors in Biochemistry and spent a decade as a firefighter and mortgage broker before the idea even occurred to him that he could write books. After attending a writing conference at the age of 30, Daniel sat down and wrote a short story. It was indescribably bad. But he kept writing, getting critiques, and rewriting. His first novel, JABBERWOCKY, has been revised over 30 times. Since Daniel wrote that first horrible short story he has finished seven novels and a dozen short stories, (none of which are as bad as the first one). Visit Daniel Coleman's website!

As a child I enjoyed weekly hours with a neighborhood art teacher. Her introduction to the visual arts has led me to a lifetime of pleasure in the art field. After gaining BA degree in Art from Smith College in Massachusetts, I taught art for a year in Florida. Then venturing into marriage and family life with my Norwegian husband, I reared three children with him in Norway and Switzerland. I took a position teaching art at the International School of Geneva for ten years. Thereafter we were back in Florida, where I taught high school and elementary art for several more years. I am presently directing and teaching in the visual arts program at Cache Valley Center for the Arts.
Painting is a luxury and a joy for me. I use mainly watercolors and acrylics. My paintings are found in Europe, Peru, and several places in the U.S. I love to share visual surprises and impressions, and encourage others to find their own creative nature.
